Hugo Tobar’s Neural Emotional Pathways – NEPS 1

Description

Instructor:  Ron Wayman

Prerequisites: Brain Formatting and Principles of Kinesiology, TFH, LEAP 1, SIPS 1 or equivalent

The Triune Brain

Underlying the unconscious responses we have to the stresses of life are the inner workings of the triune brain. As we encounter stress, the brain lights up along specific pathways.

Understanding and balancing these pathways allows us to assist the client in regaining full cortical functioning, rather than the primitive, unconscious responses that are hard-wired in our brains for the sake of survival.

The NEPS courses address the brain pathways of emotional processing, based on the work by Jaak Pankseep, in the book “Affective Neuroscience – The Foundations of Human and Animal Emotions”.

Primal Brain Circuits

NEPS 1 looks at the circuits in the brain for the primal/emotional pathways of Fear, Rage, Panic, Seeking, and Care. Included in the course is the introduction and effective use of the Modes of Processing Procedure (MOPs) that address “powers of stress”. Efficient and safe methods to address stress are necessary for those practicing Energy Kinesiology. MOPs is a very effective “powers of stress” technique.
